What to expect

At LakeHills Church, you'll be welcomed into a friendly, casual environment by people who are excited to see you. We want you to have an idea of what to expect when you arrive at a LakeHills Church. All you have to do from here is come as you are and find out more for yourself!

At a weekend service, you can expect:

• Each service to last about 90 minutes.

• Thought-provoking and engaging messages based on the Bible.

• Teaching from Senior Pastor Josh Howell or LakeHills Church pastor.

• High-energy worship music.

• Fun teaching for your kids.

Find your personal Next Step including:

• A place to belong. LifeGroups are the people you can grow, laugh, and serve with. We have groups for men, women, couples, students, hobbyists, athletes, and more!

• A chance to make a difference. God created you with gifts and skills that you can use to change lives in your community and the world. Serve at LakeHills Church, join us for a local Serve Day or one of our missions trips to get started.

• A way to grow. We want to equip you with the tools to develop as a fully devoted follower of Christ. As an individual, family, or part of a LifeGroup, you can find tools for growth here.

Your family will enjoy:

• A place just for kids. Each weekend LakeHills Kids, newborns through 6th graders, learn the truth about who God is and who they are because of Him through age-specific lessons, small groups, and trusted adult leadership. CLICK HERE TO PRE-REGISTER YOUR KIDS FOR LHKIDS CHECK-IN.

• A night just for teens. LakeHills Students meet each Wednesday for students 6th through 12th grade. Each week is loaded with worship, God's Word and interactive activities.

Senior Pastor

Josh and Jamie Howell have served the local church for over 15 years in both pastoral and support roles. Josh has served as a youth pastor, associate pastor and lead pastor in the Birmingham area for over 10 years. In 2015, they resigned their church to plant LakeHills Church. In 2016, they planted LakeHills Church on January 24th with over 170 in attendance. They have 4 beautiful children: Anna Beth, Lauren, Katie and Jackson.
